Since you probably haven’t heard this enough already (bwahahaha!) Happy New Year!
I’m curious, do you have a long list of resolutions or are you like me and just skip them? (Waiting until January 1 to start something has always seemed a little silly to me. I’d much rather go ahead and jump into whatever it is I’m planning.) Either way, there’s no judgement here!
At any rate, there’s something about the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day that makes us all take a moment to reflect and think about what we plan to do differently next year. Maybe it’s that we enjoyed so much food that even our fat pants don’t quite fit any more. Maybe it’s that we’ve been snowed in (not so much this year for most of us!) and stuck at home long enough that we just CANNOT stand to look at our home one more minute. Have you ever felt that way?
So here’s my question to you: What are your design resolutions this year? A new coat of paint? A completely new look? I’ve got a new house that I’m moving into soon—with plenty of plans for changing things up. Along the way, I’ll be sharing bits and pieces of the process. I also plan to share tips and tricks to help you make your home a better reflection of you. Oh, and how to come up with a realistic budget for your project.
Enough chit chat. Get out there and start kicking butt! Let’s make 2016 the best year yet!
