You work hard and you want your home to be your sanctuary.

Your place to relax and rejuvenate.

You're finally ready to create a home where that's possible.

You're the type of person who can balance multiple large projects at work, plan a party for your best friend, manage the carpool, and a million other things at once, yet somehow getting your ducks in a row to build your new home just hasn't happened. You've pinned a gazillion pictures and your idea books are overflowing. It feels like it should be easy, but instead you're ready to throw in the towel. Not to mention that with your schedule, nothing is going to happen any time soon. What if you had someone who could step in and handle it all for you?

I know you're frustrated and I'm here to help.

Allow me to introduce myself. I’m your secret weapon. I’ve got the design skills to help you with everything from planning to choosing finishes and furniture to putting it all together. Really. I’ve got the creative flair, technical expertise, and organizational know-how needed to help you turn those pins into reality. Imagine walking in your front door and seeing all those big plans come to life. You can have exactly what you want minus the wishing and hoping and pinning and planning when you've got me on your side.

Dixie-Willard-East-Tennessee-Interior-Designer

I got my design degree at Chaminade University of Honolulu. (Yep, Hawaii. And the campus is stunningly beautiful!) I have worked for an architecture firm where I could see the ocean from my window, worked as a designer and bookkeeper (weird, right?) for a high-end furniture store, and done e-design for Pottery Barn Kids, PBTeen, and West Elm. In the middle of all of that, I studied my ever-loving butt off to earn my NCIDQ certification.

After travelling around the world (Air Force) my husband and I have finally settled down in our forever home here in East Tennessee (where we’re close to our extended family, but not too close). I'm such a design geek that when I’m not preventing design disasters for my clients I'm taking continuing education classes for fun. I also love reading design magazines and reading design blogs so I can keep up with the latest trends. Other than that, I'm a fairly nerdy chick with a snarky sense of humor, I adore my two Chief Morale Officers (Sadie's on the left and Sammy's on the right), and I do more than my fair share to keep the coffee industry in business.
